Internet Touchtone is distributed as a Windows 95/NT
self-extractable file called 'ttone.exe'. After 'ttone.exe' is
downloaded to the directory of your choice, run this executable
either at the Dos prompt or from Windows 95/NT Explorer to start
the installation.
The installation process is straight-forward and is guided by InstallShield
(TM). You need only supply your name and company name during the
installation process. When installation is finished, you can find
Internet Touchtone in the Internet Touchtone group in Windows 95/NT
start menu.
Here is a list of files that are installed/copied to your system when
the installation is completed: (<INSTALLDIR> is the directory where
Internet Touchtone is installed)
Touchtone.exe - Internet Touchtone executable in <INSTALLDIR>.
touchtone.htm - Internet Touchtone help file in <INSTALLDIR>.
readme.txt - README file in <INSTALLDIR>.
images\*.gif - Graphic files used in Internet Touchtone Help
Xselect.dll - Internet Touchtone support library in <INSTALLDIR>.
libauth.dll - Internet Touchtone support library in <INSTALLDIR>.
ConnSC.exe - Internet Touchtone hotkey Shortcut in <INSTALLDIR>.
Internet Touchtone can be un-installed through
'Control Panel->Add/Remove Programs'. Select 'Internet Touchtone' and
click on the 'Add/Remove button'. You will then be asked for a
confirmation before Internet Touchtone is removed.

Follow the installation instructions above. You may install this
version of Internet Touchtone to the same location as a previously
installed copy of Internet Touchtone.
Note to Internet Touchtone Beta users: Please un-install the beta
version of Internet Touchtone before you install version 1.3.

For full documentation and troubleshooting, please click on the 'HELP'
button on the property page at any time while running Internet Touchtone.

// GETTING STARTED

To start Internet Touchtone, go to the Internet Touchtone program group
(from taskbar 'Start->Programs->Internet Touchtone') and select the
Internet Touchtone icon.
When Internet Touchtone starts for the first time, it displays the
property window along with an icon in the system tray area. The tray
area is the location where Windows 95/NT displays the clock.
The Internet Touchtone icon in the tray area serves as the
target for which a phone call can be made with a left mouse click.

This release includes following new features and fixes:
. In addition to phone numbers, selected text containing URL and email
addresses are recognized by Internet Touchtone.
. Selected text containing multiple phone numbers, URLs, and/or email
addresses are recognized by Internet Touchtone.
. Internet Touchtone now uses a hyperlink-style window to display
entry information. Phone numbers, URLs, and email addresses will
be displayed in different colors and can be activated with a mouse
click.
. For those who love hotkeys, Internet Touchtone now can be
activated by a hotkey/shortcut. The default shortcut is ALT+CONTROL+Z.
When this key combination is pressed, any highlighted selection in the
current window you're working on will be captured by Internet
Touchtone. So, there is no need to click on the Internet Touchtone
icon in the taskbar area if you use the shortcut.
. Internet Touchtone is now also able to capture selections from the
Microsoft Exchange window.
